Back in October, Ancelotti issued a similar caution to Neymar stating that the Santos forward must be fully fit to be considered for a recall to the national team.
During an interview with the Brazilian sports show Esporte Record, the Italian coach mentioned that he expects the same level of readiness from all players on his squad.
"There are many talented players, and I need to select those who are at 100%," Ancelotti explained.
"This is not only about Neymar, it could also involve Vinicius. If Vinicius is only at 90%, I will pick another player who is fully fit, because this team is highly competitive, especially in attack, where we have several outstanding players."
Vinicius Jr netted the only goal when Brazil defeated Paraguay 1-0 in June this year, securing their qualification for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place from June 11 to July 19 in North America. Brazil is set to face France in a friendly match in Boston during the international break between March 23 and 31.
