Vietnam U17 midfielder speaks heartfelt words after qualifying for Asian Championship finals

Truong Nguyen Duy Khang opens up emotionally about the recent experience with Vietnam U17.

Truong Nguyen Duy Khang stands out as one of the most outstanding players in Vietnam U17. After conquering the 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers, the past 56 days mark a memorable milestone in his career as the young PVF player, alongside his teammates, competed and gave their all for the national colors, fueled by love, passionate fan support, and achieving their set goals.

Whenever given a chance to play, Duy Khang always gives his best. Born in 2009, he left his mark with one goal, one assist, and was named the Best Player in the match between Vietnam U17 and Macau U17 (China).

The 2026 U17 Asian qualifiers also became a source of motivation for the young PVF player to keep striving, improving himself, and determined to rise even stronger in the future. The Vietnam U17 midfielder shared heartfelt thoughts after the tournament ended:

“Fifty-six days working together, a step forward, a dream realized. Completing 5 matches with 30 goals scored and zero conceded, we secured the qualification ticket to the U17 finals in Saudi Arabia in May 2026. The most important thing is that everyone always trusted the planned process and carried it out.

A special thank you for the love and support from the Vietnamese people for the Vietnam U17 national team. Proud to be part of this great collective. Once again, we always stand together and become stronger in the future.”

During this tournament, Vietnam U17 received numerous praises from fans for their beautiful teamwork and the emergence of many promising players. The excellent performance of coach Cristiano Roland’s squad is the most meaningful gift to the fans who have persistently supported them, and it lays a solid foundation for bigger goals ahead, aiming for the 2034 World Cup.
