Ligue 1 has added two new €100 million players, making it 3-0 against Serie A, all of whom are Paris Saint-Germain players.

Transfermarkt refreshed Ligue 1 player valuations this Monday, delighting fans by adding two €100 million players at once. This brought Ligue 1’s total to three €100 million players, all from Paris Saint-Germain, resulting in a decisive 3-0 advantage over Serie A. This clearly proves Serie A’s downfall.

The two new €100 million players added in Ligue 1 are Paris Saint-Germain’s midfielders, both Portuguese internationals: Vitinha and Neves. Their market values surged by €20 million each in this update, rising from €90 million to €110 million, surpassing the Ballon d’Or winner Dembélé (whose value remained unchanged), making them the joint highest-valued players in Ligue 1.

The latest top 10 market value list in Ligue 1 shows that the top 9 players all come from Paris Saint-Germain. Besides the three €100 million stars Vitinha, João Neves, and Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia and Doué also have values reaching €90 million. At ages 24 and 20 respectively, they still have room to grow and may join the €100 million club in the next update.

Without comparison, there is no pain: La Liga and the Premier League each have seven €100 million players, the Bundesliga has two, and now Ligue 1 surpasses the Bundesliga with three €100 million players. The only major league without any €100 million players is Serie A, highlighting its decline. Currently, the highest-valued Serie A player is Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martínez, valued at €85 million.
