On the afternoon of January 7th, the opening ceremony and the initial round of the National U19 Women's Football Championship took place at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center stadium.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Hà – Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation and Head of the Organizing Committee, expressed her delight and emphasized that this is the third consecutive year the Vietnam Football Federation has partnered with ACECOOK Vietnam Joint Stock Company to organize the National U19 Women's Football Championship.
“On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I sincerely thank and highly appreciate the continuous and responsible support of ACECOOK Vietnam towards Vietnamese football, especially women's football and youth training. This valuable support helps improve the quality of the tournament and serves as an important encouragement for young female players to keep striving, developing, and proving their talents.
The Organizing Committee believes that with thorough preparation by all involved units, each member of the Committee, and especially the serious and determined spirit of the teams, along with the sponsorship from ACECOOK Vietnam and other sponsors, the 2026 ACECOOK Cup National U19 Women's Football Championship will achieve high professional standards, feature exciting and lively matches, and provide fans with beautiful performances and fair-play spirit,” said Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Hà.
The 2026 ACECOOK Cup National U19 Women's Football Championship features participation from 5 teams including: Phong Phú Hà Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Thái Nguyên T&T, Hanoi, and Vietnam Coal and Mineral. The teams compete in a double round-robin format (home and away). Specifically, the first round runs from January 7 to January 20, 2026, at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center; the second round takes place from January 27 to February 7, 2026, at Hà Nam Stadium (Ninh Bình province).
To serve a large number of fans, the Vietnam Football Federation livestreams all matches on the VFF Channel YouTube and the VFF Facebook fanpage. The first round matches at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center are: Hanoi vs. Phong Phú Hà Nam (3:30 PM); Ho Chi Minh City vs. Thái Nguyên T&T (6:00 PM).
