Thùy Trang shines, leading her team to secure the runner-up position

Ho Chi Minh City Club secured the second place in the 2025 National Women's Futsal Championship following a strong victory against Phong Phú Hà Nam.

On the evening of January 8th, the final round of the 2025 National Women's Futsal Championship took place at the Chánh Hưng Ward Sports Hall (Ho Chi Minh City). Although Thái Sơn Nam Ho Chi Minh City Club had already clinched the championship a round earlier, the season ended with many exciting moments, while the Ho Chi Minh City women's club finished as runner-up.

In the first match of the day, the Ho Chi Minh City women's club faced Phong Phú Hà Nam. Both teams battled tightly in the first half without scoring any goals. In the second half, the Ho Chi Minh City side exploded offensively to win 5-2.

Thùy Trang impressed with two goals, including a spectacular long-range shot from her own half during a fast counterattack, making a significant contribution to her team's finish as runner-up.

The match concluding the tournament between Thái Sơn Nam Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi was full of drama. Hanoi repeatedly took the lead, but the defending champions persistently chased and equalized 3-3 in the final minutes. However, just 4 seconds before the game ended, Biện Thị Hằng scored a direct free kick from midfield, securing a 4-3 victory for Hanoi.

Nevertheless, Thái Sơn Nam Ho Chi Minh City successfully defended their title with 15 points, maintaining an unbeaten record throughout the season. The Ho Chi Minh City women's club ranked second with 10 points; the following positions were taken by Hanoi and Phong Phú Hà Nam respectively.

After thrilling matches in the final round that determined the runner-up and individual awards, the 2025 National Women's Futsal Championship concluded with an award ceremony at the Chánh Hưng Ward Futsal Club Sports Hall (Ho Chi Minh City).
