During their domestic training period, the team is expected to play two friendly matches against the Uzbekistan women's national team, scheduled in Hanoi on January 26 and 29. In early February, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his squad will travel to China for training to improve fitness and refine tactics before returning home briefly for the Lunar New Year holiday and then regrouping.

Before the training session, head coach Mai Duc Chung shared that he decided to return to lead the Vietnam women's team after a break, having recovered his health and still holding a strong desire to contribute alongside the team.

The experienced coach emphasized that the main goal of this training camp is to enhance physical fitness, maintain a pressing style of play, control short passes suitable for Vietnamese players' conditions, and improve finishing efficiency.
