The Vietnam women's team has entered their second week of training, accelerating preparations for the 2026 Asian Championship final stage.
On the afternoon of January 20, the Vietnam women's team continued their training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centeras part of the centralized preparation for the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup final. This marks the team's second week of training since gathering.
With favorable weather conditions in Hanoi, the coaching staff is focusing on improving players' physical fitness, combined with tactical and technical drills to maintain ball control and team cohesion. The training intensity is carefully adjusted to meet the demands of the upcoming highly competitive tournament.
During the domestic training period, the team plans to play two friendly matches against the Uzbekistan women's team, scheduled in Hanoi on January 26 and 29. In early February, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his squad will travel to China for further training to enhance fitness and refine their playing style before briefly returning home for Tet holiday and then regrouping.
