On the morning of January 27, midfielder Lê Văn Thuận – nicknamed the Lamine Yamal of Thanh – officially posted a farewell letter to Đông Á Thanh Hóa FC after a long period of dedication. The player born in 2006 shared: "Perhaps this is a goodbye to a wonderful journey. Nine years have passed; I grew up here, both in football and in life. From the very first training sessions, injuries, moments when I almost gave up, to the day I played in the V-League and wore the national team jersey… all of it is deeply connected to the name Thanh Hóa."
Notably, Văn Thuận also specifically thanks coach Velizar Popov, who discovered his talent and gave him opportunities: "I would like to thank coach Velizar Popov – the person who trusted me, gave me the chance to grow, and helped me gain the confidence I have today. I hope everyone understands my decision and the reasons behind leaving the club."
Finally, Văn Thuận extends his gratitude to the Thanh Hóa team: "I sincerely thank the management board of Đông Á Thanh Hóa FC, the coaches, the medical staff, and my teammates who have always guided and supported me since my early days in the first team. After leaving Thanh Hóa, Văn Thuận along with Thái Sơn and Ngọc Mỹ have reached an agreement to join Ninh Bình FC from the next phase of the season. However, Ngọc Mỹ will remain on loan at Thanh Hóa until the end of the season.
