Kane responds to Manchester United rumours! It was revealed that Manchester United planned to buy a striker, and Amorim refused to rent Hojlund

Recently, Harry Kane's contract with Bayern Munich was revealed, triggering renewed rumours of him joining Manchester United. In response, the 31-year-old England captain refused to comment, leaving a "no comment" and leaving the reporter who had nothing to do.

In 2023, Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham for £82 million, and in the same summer window, Manchester United had been rumored to be interested in bringing in, but finally chose to sign Hojlund for £72 million. Now, according to the German newspaper Bild, the Premier League club could buy Kane for £67 million in January, and the fee will be reduced to £54 million this summer.

Kane has a contract with Bayern until 2027 and there is no indication that he will leave, but the British media vowed that the situation could change in a year's time and that United could also consider bringing him in. However, unless United turn their fortunes around, there is no reason for Kane to opt to join the current quagmire of the Red Devils.

Kane scored twice on Friday as Bayern Munich thrashed Werder Bremen 3-0 to move eight points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, while his personal tally reached 28, the same number as Manchester United's entire Premier League goals. Speaking to Sky Sports Germany after the game, he made it clear: "All I can say is that I'm very happy at Bayern and I don't have anything to comment on the terms you're talking about."

If there's one thing that appeals to Kane in the Premier League, it's Alan Shearer's all-time goalscoring record, with him just 47 goals behind Schoele and a chance to overtake him after two or three more seasons. But why did he choose to leave a club like Bayern with a good chance of winning the title and choose to go to Manchester United in chaos? The Manchester Evening News asserts that Kane's hopes of wearing a Manchester United shirt may have died out completely.

United do need strikers, with centre-forwards Hojlund and Zilkze not good at scoring goals, and their league goals combined are less than a fraction of Kane's, with 12 goals in all competitions combined. The pair have been linked with a possible purge, with Hojlund being the most in doubt, with two Serie A clubs reportedly wanting loan offers in the January winter transfer window, but the Reds refused.

AC Milan were thought to be one of them, and after being rejected by Manchester United, they brought in Chelsea's Joao Felix. The other is Atalanta, Hojlund's old club, and the Red Devils will naturally not agree. The club stressed that while the 22-year-old Danish striker had yet to score in 2025, Amorim lacked a striker and therefore never wanted him to leave mid-season.

Sources say Amorim expects Hojlund to improve, but if he can't, a summer transfer is a possibility. At that point, United will once again consider rebuilding their squad. Up front, the potential to join United could be an Amorim descendant like Djekereish or a player like Osimhen who fell out with his former club.

However, there is no shortage of rumours at Manchester United and any player will be linked to the Red Devils if there is anything going on. Recently, 21-year-old RB Leipzig striker Xavi Simons has been one of the protagonists. According to Christian Farke, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool are all interested in him.

"Leipzig could have sold Simons in the summer window and it was a bit of a surprise that they signed him in the past. They didn't expect a chance, but in the end they got 50 million euros. That's not a lot for a player like that, and he doesn't have a long contract until 2027." "Leipzig think they have signed a player who has the potential to sell 80 million euros and can make money through trading. I've heard that there is a gentleman's agreement or a termination clause between the two sides, and Simmons will be sold this summer. Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are interested, and Simmons certainly won't spend his entire career at Leipzig. Leipzig wants to sell now and they can make a lot of money."
