Vietnam national team likely to miss several players on first day of training camp

During the initial assembly day for the FIFA Days fixtures in March, the Vietnamese national side could be without a complete roster.

In preparation for the friendly match against the Bangladesh national team (March 26) and the official match against Malaysia (March 31), the Vietnam national team is scheduled to regroup on March 21 in Hanoi..

However, coach Kim Sang Sik is likely to be without a full contingent right from the first training session. Players from Hanoi Police FC still have to play a postponed V-League Round 13 match at SHB Da Nang Stadium on March 22. Only after completing their club duties can these national team players return to the capital to join the camp.

After this match, the entire team will travel to Nam Dinh (Ninh Binh) to prepare for the decisive clash with the "Malayan Tigers," scheduled for 7:00 PM at Thien Truong Stadium.
