Despite losing their debut match, PVF-CAND's new coach remains satisfied due to one particular aspect.

Coach Tran Tien Dai is satisfied with PVF-CAND's competitive spirit despite the team's loss to CA TP.HCM in their debut match and their continued position at the bottom of the standings.

Although not achieving a favorable result in his first match leading PVF-CAND, Coach Tran Tien Dai still offered many praises for his players' fighting spirit. The loss against CA TP.HCM at Thong Nhat Stadium keeps the team at the bottom of the rankings, but this strategist believes the overall performance still had positive aspects.

In the encounter with the home team, PVF-CAND started with high determination and played quite resiliently for most of the match. However, the visiting side could not capitalize on opportunities to create a surprise. The sole goal in the 77th minute decided the match's outcome, leaving PVF-CAND stuck at the bottom of the table with 11 points, two points behind the safe position currently held by Thanh Hoa.

After the match, Coach Tran Tien Dai acknowledged the team faced many difficulties when pushing forward to seek an equalizer. He shared: “Of course, football involves wins and losses. CA TP.HCM had a very good game situation after scoring. At that point, we had to push our formation higher, which led to many challenges.”

Despite the defeat, PVF-CAND still created some notable opportunities. Early in the second half, the visitors had a dangerous counterattack when Lucas Turci fired a shot inside the box, forcing goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang to make a diving save. However, while eagerly pushing forward for a goal late in the match, PVF-CAND's defense left gaps and paid the price after a cross from CA TP.HCM's right flank.

According to Coach Tran Tien Dai, the team still has many areas needing improvement, particularly fitness and squad stability. He stated: “PVF-CAND must improve their physical condition. Regarding spirit, I think the players already performed to their best. The team is facing some difficulties in certain positions due to disciplinary card issues and personnel changes in the defensive line. That prevents us from achieving stability.”

Additionally, PVF-CAND's attack hasn't reached its best form as new signing Eid Mahmoud has only had a short training period with the team. Coach Tran Tien Dai admitted he also hasn't had much time working with the players before the official match. “I still face quite a few challenges. However, I receive good support from three assistants, and the players train very seriously. My first match in charge was away, while I've only trained with the team for two sessions, so such difficulties are inevitable,” he shared.

Although the start wasn't as hoped, this coach still believes PVF-CAND can improve in the coming period. With the point gap to the safe group not too large, the team still has opportunities to escape the bottom position if they quickly improve their form in the remainder of the season.
