The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has officially announced the squad 23 U23 players from this country participating in the international friendly tournament CFA Team China Cup, taking place in Xi'an city (China) during the FIFA Days in March 2026.

Notable in this squad are the talented duo Kakana Khamyok and Thanakrit Chotimueangpak, players expected to play crucial roles in the midfield. Additionally, the Thailand U23 squad includes the player currently playing in Japan, Teerapat Pruethong, currently a member of the club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. According to the plan, all summoned players will gather at the FA Thailand headquarters on March 23, 2026, before departing to Xi'an to participate in the tournament.

In this friendly tournament, Thailand U23 will play three matches consecutively. They start with a match against the host China national under-23 football team on March 25, before facing Vietnam national under-23 football team on March 28. The final match for the "Young War Elephants" will take place on March 31 against North Korea national under-23 football team.
According to Thai media, the coaching staff of the national U23 team has set the goal to achieve the best result and aim for the championship of the four-team tournament, thereby creating an important preparatory step for upcoming major tournaments in Thai youth football.
