Vietnam's U15 women's team clinches its inaugural victory at an international friendly tournament held in Australia.
Following a 1-1 draw against the Queensland Maroon U15 women's team in their opening match on April 10, Vietnam's U15 women's squad delivered an impressive performance by defeating the Tasmania U15 women's team 3-1 in their second match at the international friendly tournament in Australia on the morning of April 11.
In the 4th minute, from a teammate's back pass, Ma Ngoc Anh unleashed a dangerous long-range shot from about 25 meters into the dead corner, opening the scoring 1-0 for Vietnam's U15 women's team. At minute 23, Le Thi Bao Tram broke through and doubled the lead with a precise finishing move. By minute 30, Quynh Lam received a teammate's pass out and fired a long-range shot into the dead corner from around 25 meters, helping the team establish a 3-0 advantage within the first half.
In the second half, the opposing team reduced the deficit to 1-3 in the 50th minute after converting a corner kick into a goal. Nevertheless, Vietnam's U15 women's team maintained a solid game control to preserve the win.
Ultimately, the young Vietnamese girls secured a convincing 3-1 victory, thereby gaining more confidence ahead of their next match against the NSW Sky U15 women's team on April 12.
