Hanoi I clinched the title of the 2026 National U15 Championship by overcoming The Cong Viettel.
Immediately after the final match of the 2026 National U15 Championship – Modern Cup, the Closing Ceremony and awards presentation were solemnly held at Thanh Long Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, concluding a season rich in emotion and high professional quality.
Attending the Closing Ceremony were Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF); Mr. Pham Anh Dung – Member of the VFF Referee Committee; Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Trang – Deputy General Secretary of VFF, Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu Dien – representative of sponsor Acecook Vietnam; Mr. Tran Dinh Huan – General Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation, Head of the Local Organizing Committee, along with representatives of the teams, members of the Organizing Committee, and a large audience.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented the championship trophy to the U15 Hanoi I team – the squad that excellently achieved a 1-0 victory in the final against U15 The Cong Viettel I. This is the first championship title for U15 Hanoi I at the National U15 competition, marking a significant step forward for the capital's youth football.
Additionally, the Organizing Committee awarded the tournament's outstanding collective and individual honors, recognizing the efforts and contributions of the young players throughout the competition journey.
Earlier, after the conclusion of the two semi-final matches, the Organizing Committee presented the joint Third Place awards to the two teams U15 SLNA I and U15 Tay Ninh – collectives that delivered impressive performances and regrettably stopped before the final.
The 2026 National U15 Championship – Modern Cup concluded with many exciting matches and high professional quality, continuing to affirm its crucial role in the national youth competition system, contributing to discovering and developing future Vietnamese football talents.
By defeating The Cong Viettel, Hanoi officially becomes the National Champion
