During the post-match press conference, Manager Frank Lampard expressed immense joy over the team's remarkable achievement. The English strategist stated: "It truly was an incredible night. It was fantastic because we experienced the tension on Friday evening, yet in a way, it was wonderful given how we managed it.

That alone was remarkable, and this is equally special in its own way. This is something I genuinely, deeply desired since we led the table for a long period and continued to push forward in the latter half of the season.

It demands a very strong collective and a highly resilient group, and they have demonstrated that."

This victory brings Coventry to 89 points this season, creating an unbridgeable gap with two matches remaining.

The Sky Blues will return to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years since their relegation at the end of the 2000/01 season.

Despite a trophy-filled playing career and two spells managing Chelsea, Lampard ranks this season's accomplishment very high in his career.

"It sits right at the top of my career," he said. "I mentioned that after the Blackburn match, and to seal the championship in the manner we did, the way the team played from the first minute, how we elevated our performance in the second half.

"We've had many such performances at CBS this season; this team has been very consistent. Recent weeks have been somewhat challenging due to the pressure, as we are unfamiliar with this situation, and we secured the necessary results lately to achieve promotion.

"When you get so close, completing it with two games left is astonishing, because this league is increasingly tough.

"All teams here present different challenges, and these players have achieved 27 victories—it's truly amazing what they have accomplished."
