Real Madrid have failed to win any silverware in the last two campaigns. Transfermarkt's recent valuation update for La Liga players shows that almost all of the club's star players have suffered drops in value. Specifically, the 22-year-old English midfielder Bellingham, who plays for Los Blancos, has seen his value decrease by another €10 million to €130 million. He was in underwhelming form last term, featuring in 22 matches across all competitions for the club, with 8 goals and 5 assists.

Bellingham's market value has dropped further, marking his third consecutive decline. It has fallen from his career-high of €180 million to €130 million, a full €50 million decrease. Yet he remains the highest-valued English player and still the top English star.

According to Transfermarkt data, there are four English players worth over €100 million. They are:Bellingham at €130 million, Rice at €120 million, Saka at €110 million, and Palmer at €100 million.. Some fans joke that Bellingham's value has plummeted by half a billion euros and that his current €130 million tag is still seriously inflated. Look at it from another angle: if Arsenal were offered a swap of Bellingham for Rice, would they take it? The answer is clearly no, because Rice's tactical value far exceeds Bellingham's. Within the England squad, Rice is Tuchel's key player, while Bellingham might not even be a starter at the World Cup in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
