The deciding set was also a rollercoaster; Brazil edged it by three points on crucial plays, winning 3-2, extending their winning streak to four and handing Italy its first loss!

The Chinese women's team faced Poland last night. After losing the first set, China bounced back to win three straight sets, defeating Poland 3-1 and notching three consecutive victories. They concluded the Nanjing leg with a 3-1 record, which is certainly acceptable. However, because the United States beat Germany 3-0, China dropped one place to sixth in the standings!
