HLV Becamex TP.HCM points out the reasons behind the club's relegation

Coach Hứa Hiền Vinh openly accepted accountability following Becamex TP.HCM's official relegation from the V.League, also stating he will not shy away from pressure and is willing to remain to guide the team's return.

Coach Hứa Hiền Vinh did not evade responsibility when Becamex TP.HCM was officially relegated, despite the team winning 3-1 against Hoàng Anh Gia Lai in the final round of the V.League 2025/26 season.

The result at Binh Duong Stadium was not enough to keep the team from the land of Thu in the top Vietnamese league. After 22 consecutive years in the V.League, Becamex TP.HCM must now play in the First Division next season.

Speaking after the match, Coach Hứa Hiền Vinh stated that the team's relegation was the result of many issues that had persisted since the start of the season. "It is difficult to fully assess the reasons for the team's relegation. I believe the preseason preparation was a problem, as well as the way we recruited players and foreign signings. Today I wanted to field four foreign players to put pressure on the opponent, but I couldn't do it. However, that is in the past. I am the one who had to patch things up."

Although he could not achieve the goal of staying in the league, the coach still acknowledged the players for fighting until the very last minutes. "I just want to thank the players for not giving up despite the unfavorable results. They gave their all until the final moments and showed the fans their determination, even if the team was relegated."

Coach Hứa Hiền Vinh only took over the team in the last four rounds, but he affirmed that he is not afraid of being associated with the club's failure. "Some people asked me why I took the team at this time, not afraid of being labeled as the one who led the team to relegation. I think this is part of the game, an experience for myself, and I accept it without fear. I don't need to justify that I only coached four matches. Those who understand football will understand."

Along with his apology to the fans, Coach Hứa Hiền Vinh also left open the possibility of continuing with the team. "The past is the past. If the management and the players continue to put their trust in me, I am ready to stay and bring the team back to the top league in Vietnam."

After the season, he will return to youth training before meeting with the club's leadership to discuss the future and plans for the journey back to the V.League.
