Thailand's U19 side beat Malaysia 3-2 to advance to the semifinals of the Southeast Asian tournament, finishing first in Group B.
"First of all, I must praise the players for their collective effort to earn all three points and achieve our goal of reaching the semifinals.
During this match, the players may have put too much pressure on themselves due to their determination to win, which prevented them from performing at their true level.

We still need to improve our system and the way we execute our game plan, as the players are still making some mistakes.
The pressure in this match was probably one of the reasons why they didn't play according to our instructions.
I want the players to focus on playing according to the team's method and system, without paying too much attention to the opponent or the referee. If we play correctly according to our style and system, I believe the result will be positive," said Thailand U19 coach Jakraphan Panpee after the match.
Regarding the opponent in the semifinals, Jakraphan Panpee said: "For the next match, we still don't know who we will face.
However, the whole team will continue to work hard to maintain our direction and playing system. The first goal was to reach the semifinals, and we achieved that. The next goal is to advance to the final."
