Conclusion of the AFC/VFF 'B' License Football Coach Course

The 2026 AFC/VFF B License Coach Course concluded successfully, helping to elevate the standard of coaching staff and boosting Vietnam's youth football development.

The 2026 AFC/VFF B License Coaching Course officially ended after 23 days of training, marking another milestone in enhancing the quality of Vietnam's football coaching human resources. The closing ceremony was held at Hoai Duc Stadium (Hanoi) with the participation of VFF representatives, local organizers, instructors, and 23 trainees from various clubs and training centers across the country.

This year's course was implemented in two phases, running from early April to early June. The first phase took place in Da Nang, while the second phase was held in Hanoi. Throughout the program, trainees were introduced to a modern system of football coaching knowledge based on AFC standards, and they also underwent numerous practical sessions to improve their professional skills and team management abilities.

A notable highlight of the course was that Mr. Tran Duc Toan served as an instructor for an AFC/VFF B License course for the first time. Under the guidance and technical support of VFF Technical Director Koshida Takeshi, this is regarded as an important milestone in developing the local instructor team, gradually enhancing Vietnam football's self-reliance in coach training.

In addition to professional coaching content, trainees were also equipped with supplementary knowledge such as goalkeeper training, sports nutrition, sports medicine, and competition rules. The program was designed comprehensively to help coaches not only improve their expertise but also gain a more complete understanding of player development in the modern football environment.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Koshida Takeshi praised the trainees' serious learning attitude and the support from the host locality. He emphasized that the AFC/VFF B License plays a key role in training coaches who work with young players, a group considered the foundation for the future of Vietnamese football. The Japanese expert also encouraged the trainees to pursue higher-level training programs in the future.

At the conclusion of the course, the trainees completed the training program with many valuable experiences and practical knowledge. The success of the 2026 AFC/VFF B License course not only contributed to raising the quality of coaches nationwide but also demonstrated VFF's efforts in building a solid foundation for the development of youth football and professional football in Vietnam in the future.
