VPF has engaged a group of Singaporean officials for the upcoming playoff clash between PVF-CAND and Bac Ninh FC scheduled for June 12.
Specifically, the main referee is Mr. Ahmad A'Qashah Bin Ahmad Al Badowe, and the VAR referee is Mr. Muhammad Taqi Aljaafari Bin Jahari.
Ahmad A'Qashah has been a FIFA referee since 2013 and has officiated numerous matches in the AFC Champions League, AFC Cup, Asian Cup qualifiers, as well as international matches at the national team level.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Taqi is one of Singapore's top referees. He became a FIFA referee in 2012 and has officiated at the AFC Asian Cup, FIFA U17 World Cup, and FIFA U20 World Cup. He was also part of the VAR referee team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The playoff match for a spot in the 2026/27 V-League between Bac Ninh FC (runners-up of the First Division) and PVF-CAND (the team ranked 13th in V-League) will take place at 18:00 on June 12 at Ha Tinh Stadium.
On the afternoon of June 9, Bac Ninh FC proactively proposed that VPF invite foreign referees to officiate this crucial match.
In the official letter, Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company wrote: "Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company has sent a document to the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) proposing to consider inviting international foreign referees to officiate the Gold Star Beer 2025/26 playoff match between Bac Ninh FC and PVF-CAND, scheduled for June 12, 2026 at Ha Tinh Stadium.
This is a particularly important match that will decide the spot for the 2026/27 National Championship. With the desire to cooperate with the tournament organizers to ensure objectivity, transparency, and create conditions for the match to achieve the highest professional quality, Bac Ninh FC has proposed that the organizers consider the option of using international referees to officiate the match.
Bac Ninh FC believes that the presence of foreign referees in such a pivotal match will help enhance professionalism, create a positive effect for the tournament, and bring an exciting, fair, and dedicated contest to a large number of fans nationwide."
