Ho Chi Minh City Police FC celebrates the 2025/26 National Cup championship.

A summary and commendation event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Football Club on the morning of June 20th at the Ho Chi Minh City Police headquarters, celebrating their win of the 2025/26 National Cup – LPBank Securities.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City; and Mr. Le Hoai Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs. Representing the Ho Chi Minh City Police were People's Armed Forces Hero, Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee, Party Secretary and Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, Lieutenant General Mai Hoang.

During the event, one collective and 55 individuals from the club received certificates of merit from the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, recognizing their outstanding contributions in the 2025/26 season.

In his congratulatory remarks, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong noted that the National Cup title is not only a pride for the Ho Chi Minh City Police force but also a commendable achievement for the city's citizens. He emphasized that this honor carries special meaning as it coincides with the upcoming 50th anniversary of the city being named after President Ho Chi Minh.

On behalf of the club, Colonel Tran Hong Minh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Football Club, expressed his appreciation to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ho Chi Minh City authorities, and the Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Police for their ongoing support and facilitation, which allowed the team to excel in the past season.

According to Colonel Tran Hong Minh, the 2025/26 National Cup – LPBank Securities championship transcends the value of an ordinary sports trophy. It represents the club's first national-level title since its transfer to the administration of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, and marks the return of Ho Chi Minh City Police football to the summit after a 25-year hiatus.

The club chairman affirmed that the team will continue to be developed in a distinctive and inspiring manner, playing with dedication, and becoming a source of pride for the People's Public Security forces and the people of Ho Chi Minh City, while aiming for a position among Vietnam's top football clubs.

Closing the 2025/26 season with the National Cup championship and a fifth-place finish in the V-League, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Football Club sees this as a foundation for pursuing even greater objectives in domestic, regional, and international arenas in the future.
