V.League newcomers part ways with numerous key players after championship win

After a landmark campaign that earned them a spot in the V.League 2026/27, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club has bid farewell to 10 of its players.

Following a historic season that saw them crowned champions of the 2025/26 National First Division, and earning their first-ever promotion to the V.League, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai has begun restructuring its squad to prepare for the challenges of Vietnam's top football tier. One of the most notable moves is the club's official farewell to 10 players after the season concluded.

On its official website, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai sent a heartfelt message of gratitude to the players who had fulfilled their duties in the club's colors. The club's leadership emphasized that last season's success was the result of collective effort, with every individual making crucial contributions on the journey to winning the championship and bringing Dong Nai football back to the V.League map after many years of waiting.

The departing players include Alex Sandro, Ho Thanh Minh, Nguyen Vu Hoang Duong, Nguyen Van Ka, Ho Sy Giap, Vu Duc Duy, Cu Nguyen Khanh, Cao Tran Hoang Hung, Tran Quang Thinh, and goalkeeper Cao Hoang Truong Long. These are all figures who accompanied the club throughout the past season, contributing to building a team full of ambition and resilience.

In a message to the players, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai affirmed that their contributions will always be remembered by the club and its fans. The club stated that the images and marks left by these players during the historic 2025/26 season will be preserved as a vital part of the team's development journey.
