On June 27, Beijing time, well-known transfer specialist Romano used his iconic "HERE WE GO" to confirm that AC Milan of Serie A have struck a deal with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of 25-year-old center-forward Gonçalo Ramos. The agreement with the player has also been finalized, and the two sides will sign a five-year contract through 2031.

Gonçalo Ramos thus becomes Milan's first summer signing, and he is the new addition specifically requested by new coach Amorim. In the upcoming season, Ramos will form an attacking trident for Milan alongside Pulisic and Nkunku.
It is reported that the Portuguese international's transfer fee amounts to €74 million, and with bonuses and other add-ons, it will shatter Milan's club record for a transfer fee.

Previously, Milan's record transfer fee was held by another Portuguese international, Leão, for whom Milan paid €50 million plus variables. Gonçalo Ramos's final fee will significantly exceed that number, making him the new "record signing" in Milan's history.
Now 25 years old, Gonçalo Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan from Benfica in the summer of 2023, and one year later, PSG activated a €65 million buyout clause.

However, at PSG, Gonçalo Ramos was unable to secure a regular starting role. Last season, he made 50 appearances for the Parisians, scoring 13 goals and providing 2 assists. He was also named to Portugal's 26-man squad and is currently participating in the World Cup with the team. Ramos's latest market value on Transfermarkt stands at €30 million.
