The Premier League kicks off next week, and there is good news for Manchester United, with the team's midfielder core B Fee about to usher in a contract extension.
According to the latest report from Italy's Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have reached a contract extension agreement with Portugal's 29-year-old attacking midfielder B Fei, and the two sides are about to sign a new 3+1 contract, after which B Fei will surpass Casemiro to become the highest salary in Manchester United's team.
Fabrizio Romano described him as the highest-paid player in the squad with the option of a one-year extension, which has been extended until June 2027.
Note: The current annual salary of B Fee is £12.48 million before tax, while Manchester United's current maximum salary in the squad is Casemiro, and the Brazil defender's annual salary is as high as £18.2 million before tax. Casemiro is currently third in the Premier League behind Manchester City's twin stars De Bruyne and Haaland, which means that the annual salary of B Fei has risen to the top three in the Premier League after the contract extension.
B Fee joined Manchester United from Portugal Sporting for a transfer fee of 65 million euros in January 2020 and has been with him for four and a half years, B Fee has made 233 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions, contributing 79 goals and 66 assists.
The 29-year-old B Fei, 1.79 meters tall, right-footed player, mainly plays in the forward position, can also play as a second striker and midfielder, with an existing contract until 2026, and the German turnover is worth 70 million euros, the highest in Manchester United's team. Fernandes made 48 appearances for United in all competitions last season, starting 47 of them, contributing 15 goals and 13 assists, with a quasi-double-double. Euro 2024, 4 appearances with Portugal, all starts, scored 1 goal.
