Bayern Munich duo De Ligt and Mazraoui arrived at Manchester United's Carrington training base on Monday and will join for €70 million (£60 million) in a package. The two former Ajax defenders will become the Red Devils' third and fourth signings this summer.

On Monday morning, the pair boarded a flight to Manchester in Munich and then arrived in Carrington in a black Mercedes van. Later in the day, De Ligt and Mazraoui underwent medical examinations as Manchester United could make their transfers official at any time. Both will sign a "5+1" contract, with De Ligt earning £100,000 a week and Mazraoui around £130,000.
The video shows two defenders smiling as they walk to the tarmac in their private cars. De Ligt walked into the terminal building alone, carrying a large rucksack and a larger suitcase. It was also his 25th birthday, and Bayern wished him a happy birthday on his social media account on the occasion of his departure. In front of the cameras of the German media, De Ligt said that he did not have time to say more: "Nussel (Mazraoui) is waiting for me."
Mazraoui, as De Ligt mentions, opted for a personal bag, followed by an attendant pushing a small suitcase. The 26-year-old Morocco international is in the final year of his contract, and Bayern signed him for free that year, no matter how much he sells, it is a net profit.
It is reported that De Ligt's transfer fee is £43 million and Mazraoui's is £17 million, with both having a floating clause of around £4 million in their fees. De Ligt and Mazraoui are both familiar with Ten Hag, having spent several seasons at Ajax for the United boss before joining forces with Bayern Munich and will now play alongside Ten Hag at Manchester United.

The move will see them join the likes of former Jafu stars Andre ·Onana, Antony and Lisandro · Martinez, who have also become part of the Reds.
With another new centre-back, Joro, injured, De Ligt has a good chance of starting for Manchester United, who will compete with Harry Maguire as Lima's centre-back partner. Mazraoui, on the other hand, will need to compete with Diogu · Dalow at right-back, and he can also play at left wing-back, a position that has not been available in the past year due to injuries to Luke· Shaw and Malacia. In the Community Shield, Manchester United's starting left-back is Lima.
Speaking after the Community Shield, Ten Hag made it clear: 'It's clear we have defensively problems and we have to work on them. The players have to work hard to get on the pitch and the coaching staff has to work hard to improve the defence."
The 29-year-old Spain centre-back Mario · Hermoso, who has recently been linked with Manchester United, has been out of action. The parties have a disagreement in the contract negotiation and will not be able to cooperate successfully. Hermoso can play at centre-back and left-back to fill the void in the defence, but Spain's newspaper Ace claims that United have told his agent to end talks if they do not agree to the other side's demand for a £5.1 million annual salary after tax. It is said that Manchester United are only willing to offer £80,000 a week, with a gap of £20,000 from the opposition.

Italy transfer expert Fabrizio · Fabrizio Romano says that United, including De Ligt and Mazraoui, want to bring in three or four more players before the summer transfer window closes, with the remaining target likely to be a midfielder, possibly another defender or a striker if he can.
