Manchester United wants to sign goalkeeper Millin for 20 million to challenge Onana! White Pogba's younger brother, born in the Red Devils academy

Milinkovic-Savic may finally be joining Manchester United! But it was not former Lazio midfielder Sergei Milinkovic-Savic, familiar to veteran Red Devils fans, but his younger brother Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, who is a goalkeeper.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed: "Manchester United have added Mielin to the shortlist for the new goalkeeper and have made initial contact with the Torino goalkeeper, who will be one of the candidates for the new goalkeeper next season, depending on price and other factors."

The goalkeeper is not an urgent priority compared to other positions in the squad, but certainly one of the many positions United want to fill in the summer.

It is alleged that Torino wants to get a transfer fee of 20 million euros through the sale of Xiaolin, which is the amount of his default clause. The 28-year-old goalkeeper has made 34 Serie A appearances this season and has only one year left on his contract with the club, so United could negotiate a reduction in his transfer fee.

Born in Spain, Mielin joined Manchester United's youth system in 2014 when the Red Devils signed him for €1.75 million from Serbian side Vojvodina. Vania spent 18 months at Manchester United but eventually found himself unable to obtain a UK labour certificate, so he stayed in Belgrade and eventually ended his Red Devils career with Legia in Poland at the end of 2015.

In 2017, Xiao Xiaolin joined Torino and has been playing for him since, playing several "brother derbys" with his brother in Serie A until the 30-year-old Sergei moved to Riyadh Crescent in Saudi Arabia in 2023. This season, Damilin has scored 10 goals in 26 appearances in the Saudi Pro League. Manchester United fans are no stranger to him, and there have been constant rumours with him during Jose Mourinho's tenure, when he was referred to as 'White Pogba'.

The Manchester Evening News reports confirm that Manchester United are also uncertain about their goalkeeper position this summer. The soon-to-be-40-year-old Heaton did receive a one-year contract extension and he is happy to stay with the Reds for another year. By the time Heaton decides to end his career, he may even be the manager of Manchester United.

It is reported that Heaton is popular in the dressing room and has been a member of the team leadership team. His experience has been valued by Ten Hag and Ruben Amorim, who have also forged a strong friendship with club captain Bruno Fernandez. Therefore, keeping Heaton on for another year could provide continuity in the goalkeeping of the squad, with clubs keen to have three experienced goalkeepers in their squad, rather than using inexperienced rookies.
