Manchester United's move to bring in Brentford has been hampered to some extent, with rumours that Tottenham may step in to "cut off", Brentford manager Thomas Frank may take charge of the team and ask for the six-year veteran to be brought in. The Red Devils have not had much of a problem negotiating a personal deal with Mbeumo, but have yet to agree a transfer fee with Brentford.

If Frank is in charge of Tottenham, Mbeumo will need to consider whether to listen to his head or his heart. The Danish boss has helped Mbeumo become a Premier League star, and with Tottenham playing in the Champions League next season, they should be the brainstorm. But Mbeumo's favourite was Manchester United, and he revealed that his first shirt as a child was printed with the name of the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo of the Red Devils at the time.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed Mbeumo's dream: "Mbeumo wants to go to Manchester United, it's a player's choice, he wants to wear a Manchester United shirt and play at Old Trafford. Despite being approached by Newcastle United, Arsenal and more Champions League clubs, his top target is Manchester United. Mbeumo has reached an agreement with Manchester United and the club is now working hard to get the deal done."
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United have made two offers for Mbeumo, with the latest offer being a fixed transfer fee of £50 million, plus a £10 million floating clause. Brentford want to get closer to £70 million and the floating clause needs to be reduced and measured by individual player performance rather than team results.
The newspaper claims that Manchester United are giving more money than Tottenham. Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS management team had been in talks with Mbemo's agent for some time, with an offer of a base salary of £150,000 a week, plus a related bonus of £50,000, which could be worth £200,000 a week. Tottenham's base salary is £130,000, which is not as high as Manchester United's.

Manchester United had hoped to complete the transfer of Mbeumo within the special registration period provided by FIFA for the Club World Cup, as Cunha did. If they want to achieve this, then the club will have to race against the clock. This temporary transfer window will close at 7pm local time on Tuesday night. If you miss it, you'll need to wait until the window reopens next Monday, June 16.
United are unlikely to sign Mbeumo before Tuesday night's deadline and the club have yet to agree a transfer fee with the 'Little Bees', so it is unlikely that they will sign and hand in all the required registration documents before the deadline. Despite this, United are confident of bringing Mbeumo back to Old Trafford.
It is reported that the only active transaction currently operated by the management of Rajue is Mbemo, and other reinforcements will definitely not be carried out until the summer window officially opens. The same goes for selling, with the likes of Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony being the likes of Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony, however, there are no offers for the Reds at the moment. Inter Milan have confirmed their interest in Hojlund, but official talks have not begun, with the 22-year-old Danish international insisting he will stay at Manchester United.
This means that unless anything unexpected happens, United will not have any unsolicited sales until the temporary transfer window closes. A second transfer split is a possibility, as Álvaro Carreras Fernandez could join Real Madrid, with United receiving a 20% share of the transfer profits from Benfica.

If Manchester United bring in Mbeumo, the deal will have to be financed through signings. Amorim is said to want a centre-forward, a midfielder and a goalkeeper.
