Manchester United officially announced on Thursday that Mateus Cunha, the first signing of the summer window, has officially joined. Previously, the club had confirmed his transfer, and now he has successfully renewed his labor certification and signed a contract until 2030, with a one-year right of first refusal. The 26-year-old Brazil international will spend the Red Devils £62.5 million in a transfer fee, to be paid in three installments over two years. Cunha himself will receive £200,000 a week and is currently fourth in the squad.

When I was a kid and I was still in Brazil, I watched the Premier League at my grandmother's house, Manchester United was my favourite English team and I dreamed of wearing the Red Devils shirt. I want to thank my family and all those who helped me achieve my dream."

An early signing means Cunha could join the squad for training at the end of the month or early next month in a bid to integrate into the Reds sooner. "I can't wait for the pre-season to start so I can get to know my teammates and get ready for the upcoming season," he said. Now, all my focus will be on trying to be a worthy member of the team and helping the club get back to the top."

Cunha scored 15 goals and provided six assists in the Premier League last season, almost double the eight goals of Bruno Fernandes, United's top scorer.

He is still in Brazil, having just played two World Preliminary Matches for Brazil, and has been assigned by new coach Carlo Ancelotti as the main starter. The signing videos and photos released by Manchester United were all taken at the end of last month.

After his successful move to Manchester United, Cunha was also blessed by Samba legends Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, who dined with new Red Devils signing and Real Madrid star Vinicius, who teamed up to score Brazil's winning 1-0 win over Paraguay.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United's next officially announced new player has also been confirmed, which will be a free transfer for young French striker Enzo Kana-Biyik. The 18-year-old Cameroonian player's move from Ligue 2 Le Havre was finalised back in April, with only the transfer approval documents awaited.

It is reported that the Red Devils are awaiting an announcement of the official regulatory measures that must be passed before they join. They are expected to officially announce the transfer of Kana Björk, rather than another confirmed youngster, Harley Emsden-James, who is only 16 years old.

According to rumours, Kana-Björk may be loaned to Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Lausanne, Switzerland, for physical training, but the new claim is that his loan plan has not yet been confirmed.

The player was in the first team at Le Havre last season but was unable to feature. He made 16 appearances for the Under-19s and scored nine goals.
