Wolverhampton Wanderers have honored Portuguese forward Diogo Jota by enshrining him in the club's Hall of Fame following his tragic death in a car accident earlier this month.
Jota played a key role in Wolves securing promotion to the Premier League in 2018 before moving to Liverpool in 2020.
"Diogo was not only an exceptional footballer, but also a person who embodied humility and kindness during his time at Wolves, and he will be deeply missed by all of us," Wolves' director of football administration, Matt Wild, stated in a message late on Thursday.
Billy Wright, Derek Dougan, and Steve Bull are among those who have already been inducted into the club's Hall of Fame, which was founded in 2008.
