"Martin possesses a strong character and has been developed in environments where discipline and thorough preparation are essential. He naturally commands respect – both in the locker room and on the field – where he leads with a fierce winning mentality and unwavering humility in competition."
"He is a unifying presence who will contribute to the environment we have established. This aligns with our values and the approach we aim to take at FC Midtjylland.", says FCM's sports director Kristian Bach Bak on the club's website.
Martin Erlic chose FC Midtjylland after a process where the club's clear vision and personal engagement left a strong impression.
"From our very first conversation, it was evident that Midtjylland genuinely wanted me. The club came to meet me and shared their vision – that truly impressed me," says the Croatian international.
"I come with ambitions. I aim to win, compete for titles, and help advance the club further in Europe. It is clear that Midtjylland has lofty aspirations – and I share those dreams."
The 27-year-old Erlic joined Bologna from Sassuolo in 2024. He has earned ten caps for Croatia.
