The main left-footed center-back of Barcelona has suddenly terminated his contract to join Al Nassr alongside Cristiano Ronaldo on a 1+1 deal, aiming to compete for the championship against Al Hilal.

According to Romano, Iñigo will promptly part ways with Barcelona, ending his current contract and joining Al Nassr as a free agent, with both parties agreeing to a one-year contract plus a one-year extension option.

Iñigo transferred to Barcelona from Athletic Bilbao on a free transfer during the summer window of 2023, making 71 appearances with 3 goals and 6 assists in two years with the Blaugrana, winning one La Liga title, one Copa del Rey, and one Spanish Super Cup.
