Garnacho threatens Manchester United with a move to Chelsea only! Otherwise, he will stay without playing, refusing to join any other team.

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has informed the club that he will only join Chelsea this summer. The 21-year-old Argentine international has reached a personal agreement with the club, and if the transfer goes through, he will sign until 2032. Now, both clubs need to agree on the transfer fee; "Little Joe" is putting pressure on the Red Devils, which is naturally unfavorable for negotiations.

Garnacho is no longer favored under Amorim, and his transfer rumors have been rampant this summer. Chelsea's interest in him dates back to the January transfer window when the Blues considered signing Garnacho, but Manchester United demanded a £70 million transfer fee. Now, Garnacho has stated he has no intention of accepting any other offers, effectively forcing Manchester United to lower their asking price. According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Garnacho's message to Manchester United is: "Either let me transfer to Chelsea, or I will stay here, even if it means not playing for the next 6 to 12 months."

Romano stated: "Chelsea has accelerated negotiations for Garnacho! Talks between the club and Manchester United are now fully underway. Garnacho only wants to go to Chelsea, personal terms have been agreed, and both clubs are negotiating the transfer fee. Garnacho is expected to become a Chelsea player this summer."

According to British media "GIVEMESPORT," Napoli, the Serie A champions under Conte, Bayer Leverkusen coached by Ten Hag, teams from the Saudi Professional League, and clubs from his birthplace Spain have all expressed interest in Garnacho. However, he sees Stamford Bridge as the best place to get his career back on track, with no plans to join any team other than Chelsea.

The British "Daily Mirror" also confirmed that Garnacho is determined to move to Chelsea, abandoning all other options. If necessary, he is even willing to spend a year on the bench or in the stands at Manchester United. Even if this means missing out on next year's World Cup, the Argentine winger is prepared to make that sacrifice.

This summer, Amorim intended to use the World Cup participation opportunity to intimidate several players he did not want: "I know some clubs might be waiting until the last moment to lower the price, but they might be surprised. I am ready to accept these players; they will have more competitive opportunities. If you want to participate in the World Cup next year, you need to play matches."

Chelsea values Garnacho at £30 million, while Manchester United wants £50 million, creating a £20 million gap. The Blues have proposed several player exchange deals, including Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku, with defenders Tissasi and Renato Veiga also mentioned, but Manchester United showed no interest.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS have made it clear that Manchester United needs cash transfer fees to improve financial data and continue buying players, such as Brighton's 21-year-old midfielder Carlos Baleba, and therefore do not want player exchange deals. Garnacho already has a "household registration" as a Manchester United academy player, meaning all his transfer fees are pure profit.

The "Daily Mail" pointed out that Amorim's demand for Manchester United to sell Garnacho, along with the latter's insistence on only going to Chelsea, has made the club's bargaining position difficult. If he is not sold to Todd Boehly's Blues, the club could face difficulties. On one hand, this would result in a loss of pure income on the books; on the other hand, keeping Garnacho could create a ticking time bomb in the locker room, likely causing unrest in the team through media or social media.

Last season, Garnacho scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions, achieving his best goal tally in his career. However, he has had a poor relationship with coach Amorim, who tried to make Garnacho play as a wing-back, like Amad Diallo, but Garnacho was unwilling to do so.

By the end of the season, the Argentine found himself on the bench during the Europa League final, with the recently recovered Mason Mount starting instead. Garnacho angrily responded to this arrangement on social media, leading to a fallout between him and the coach.

Chelsea has investigated Garnacho's character and believes there are no major issues; the fallout with Amorim is not solely the player's fault, as the coach is also to blame. Therefore, they are not worried that this controversial talent from Manchester United will disrupt their locker room atmosphere. Furthermore, Garnacho enjoys a special status as the "prince" of the academy at Manchester United, but at Stamford Bridge, he must fight for his place, just like Sancho did last season.
