Rashford may miss the first round of La Liga! He criticizes Manchester United for never truly rebuilding and suggests learning from Liverpool.

Barcelona has successfully gained La Liga's approval to release 80% of their salary cap due to goalkeeper Ter Stegen's severe injury, allowing them to register new goalkeeper Joan García, who can participate in the league opener against Mallorca. However, Barcelona still has a lot of work to do to register players like Rashford and Szczęsny, who may miss Saturday's match.

According to "Sport," the Barcelona board agreed on Wednesday to take urgent measures to register summer signings in time for the new season starting in three days. The club's executives may use their personal assets to provide a €7 million bank guarantee, helping the club get closer to La Liga's 1:1 financial regulations, thus allowing them to register new signings.

However, Rashford seems unconcerned and is confident he will eventually make his La Liga debut. This week, he also commented on his former club Manchester United's operations, stating that the club's mismanagement has led the team into a "no man's land" and suggesting that the Red Devils might have to learn from their rivals Liverpool.

Rashford criticized Manchester United for failing to commit to a long-term revival plan under a single head coach. "You can think about whether any team has ever succeeded while constantly changing," Rashford said. "When Ferguson was at Manchester United, he not only set the rules for the first team but also built an entire youth training system, allowing coaches to select players over 15 years old, representing a whole generation who understood United's style of play, right?"

The 27-year-old English star added, "Any team that has achieved long-term success shares this characteristic: they have their principles, and any new coach or player must adhere to those principles or be able to bring something new to them. Sometimes I feel like Manchester United just... we are eager for victory, so we always try to adapt, signing players who fit this system, but that's a passive change."

Rashford concluded, "If your direction is always changing, don't expect to win the league. The team might win some cup titles, but that's because they happened to have a good coach or excellent players who could help the whole team win."

Rashford even pointed out that Manchester United has never truly changed: "The current situation at United is not accidental. Some people forget this. Our performance is far below what people expect from Manchester United. But if you take a step back, like I do now, especially over the past six months, what else can you expect? People have been saying for years that we are in a transitional period. To transition, you must start transitioning. However, it seems that the real transition has yet to begin."

Although he had a falling out with Amorim, Rashford believes Manchester United should emulate Liverpool by giving their head coach at least three years to rebuild the team. "Liverpool went through this; they brought in Klopp and kept him. At first, they didn't win, and people only remember the last few years of Klopp's tenure when he could compete with Manchester City and win some of the most important trophies. But he certainly didn't win anything in the first three years."

Rashford said, "To begin a transition, you must create a plan and stick to it. So, that's my view. It's not easy because if progress isn't smooth, fans will demand change. But this is what I want to say: look realistically at your situation. I feel that to win titles, Manchester United has changed many different managers, ideas, and strategies... but ultimately achieved nothing and ended up in a no man's land. It's really hard to bear, both as a player and as a Manchester United fan."

Regarding his decision to leave Manchester United this year, Rashford explained, "No matter how long you've been somewhere or where you go, it's a change. Looking back now, I feel that my timing to join Villa was just right. I sensed the response and reaction from the club members and fans, which might have been exactly what I personally needed at that time. It's crazy because six months have passed, and everything feels completely different. Without that time, perhaps I wouldn't have the feelings I have now. I think everything that happened at Villa was great, except for the injury at the end."

Rashford has already scored and assisted in warm-up matches for Barcelona, although he has also missed some glaring open goals. He stated that the training with his new team is more complex than it was at Manchester United. "The training intensity here is very high. It's hard to explain, but the preseason training is indeed tough, and I feel exhausted after each session, with the weather also playing a role," Rashford said. "Running isn't difficult; what's more important is practicing with the ball and maintaining a consistent level. In that sense, the intensity is more complex."

No matter what Rashford says, Manchester United does not want him to be unable to register because only if he plays and performs well can Barcelona activate the €30 million buyout clause; otherwise, Rashford will return to the Red Devils next summer.
