Manchester United has reportedly agreed to lower their asking price for Garnacho to £50 million, while Chelsea is willing to offer £35 million! Personal terms have been agreed upon.

The transfer of Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea has made progress, with Manchester United believed to be ultimately reducing their asking price to £50 million, while the Blues are also expected to raise their initial bid of £30 million, bringing both sides closer to a middle ground. In fact, it was anticipated from the start that this deal would be completed for around £40 million, but both clubs still want to negotiate.

It is reported that Chelsea is now willing to pay a fixed transfer fee of £35 million, along with some performance-related clauses and sell-on fees, which could easily bring the total to around £40 million. They believe this might be a fair price, considering Garnacho's situation at Manchester United, where his value is only likely to decrease. In January, Napoli offered £40 million, but Manchester United rejected it, and the club may now regret not accepting that offer.

Garnacho has fallen out with head coach Ruben Amorim, who has publicly informed him that he has no future at Manchester United; coupled with his desire to join Chelsea, this has given the Blues a favorable position in negotiations. Chelsea hopes to make significant progress by this weekend, and Garnacho himself is determined to join Chelsea, having turned down offers from other European clubs.

Chelsea has maintained a calm demeanor throughout the negotiations, confident in the player's desire to move to Stamford Bridge. Transfer expert Ben Jacobs has confirmed that they have reached an agreement on personal terms with Garnacho, and as soon as the clubs finalize the transfer fee, the deal can be completed quickly.

Negotiations between Chelsea and Manchester United regarding the transfer fee are still ongoing. Since Garnacho is a homegrown player, the proceeds from his sale will be recorded as pure profit in Manchester United's PSR accounts. Such transactions are highly profitable and can significantly enhance the club's purchasing power. Manchester United is currently trying to sign Carlos Baleba, whose price exceeds £100 million, making Garnacho's transfer fee crucial.

However, if negotiations drag on, it might slightly increase the price, but with the summer window closing, Brighton could also raise Baleba's asking price, so prolonging the process could be counterproductive. Therefore, Manchester United's stance is softening, while Garnacho continues to push for the transfer.

Chelsea has already signed England winger Gittens, and Garnacho would be a supplementary addition; not securing him wouldn't significantly impact them. Manchester United does not wish for Chelsea to withdraw, as "Little Joe" has made it clear he will only go to Chelsea, and if the transfer fails, the club will miss out on this pure revenue.

Considering these factors, Chelsea believes that negotiations will soon break through. Currently, all parties are working hard to reach an agreement, and there is a strong feeling that Garnacho may be closer to becoming a Chelsea player by this weekend. Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Garnacho's transfer is very, very advanced and very, very active.

Romano succinctly stated: "Negotiations for Garnacho's transfer to Chelsea continue behind the scenes, with both clubs in contact. Garnacho maintains his original position: he will only go to Chelsea, with personal terms 100% agreed, and he is waiting for Manchester United to give the green light."

Although he will have to compete with Gittens for the left-wing position at Stamford Bridge, Garnacho, who scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 58 appearances for Manchester United last season, believes he will have more opportunities at Chelsea, especially after Manchester United signed Cunha, Mbeumo, and Šeško.
