Japanese head coach finalizes Vietnam U16 women’s squad for Southeast Asian Championship

Coach Okiyama Masahiko has just released the official list of 23 players for the Vietnam U16 women’s national team who will compete at the 2025 Southeast Asian U16 Women’s Championship, taking place from August 20 to August 30 in Indonesia.

According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), on August 18, Japanese head coach Okiyama Masahiko announced the squad for the Vietnam U16 women’s team to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian U16 Women’s Championship. Of the 30 players initially called up, seven were not included in the final roster: Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo (Ninh Bình), Nguyễn Vân Anh, Nguyễn Ngọc Như Ý, Nguyễn Thanh Thủy, Đoàn Thị Kim Chi (Ho Chi Minh City), Nguyễn Khánh Ly (Thái Nguyên), and Hà Thị Mai Tuyền (Sơn La).
