In the recently finished WTT European Grand Slam men's singles semifinal, Lin Shidong overcame Simon Gauzy 4-3 to secure a place in the final, awaiting the victor of Moregard versus Duda.

Lin won the first game, after which Simon Gauzy claimed three games in a row, bringing the score to 1-3 against Lin. At this critical juncture, the tension was palpable, but Lin resisted the pressure and rallied to win three consecutive games, ultimately defeating Simon Gauzy 4-3.
