On August 23, 2025, during the ATP 250 Winston-Salem Open men's singles final, Fuscovitz overcame Vanderschoop 6-3, 7-6(3) to secure his inaugural hard court championship and the third title of his professional career.
This event is the sole ATP tournament the week prior to the US Open, classified as a 250-level competition with a 48-player draw where the top 16 seeds get a first-round bye. Unseeded Fuscovitz advanced to the semifinals by consecutively defeating three seeded players starting from the second round and reached the final after his opponent retired in the semifinal match.
In the final, Fuscovitz took control early by winning the first set 6-3; in the second set, he quickly led 5-1. However, with victory in sight, his opponent broke back twice, overtaking the lead. Fortunately, Fuscovitz capitalized on his fourth match point in the tiebreak to seal the win 7-6(3).
