The 2025 YONEX Elite Cup Junior Tennis Finals (CTJ-200) concluded successfully!

On August 23rd, 2025, the YONEX Elite Cup Junior Tennis Finals (CTJ-200) successfully concluded in Fuzhou. Following fierce battles in the initial group phase and subsequent knockout stage, the 2025 YONEX Elite Cup champions in U8 mixed singles, U10 boys' and girls' singles, and U12 boys' and girls' singles were decided!


U8 Mixed Singles Champion: Lv Xingyou


The U8 mixed singles final was contested between Lv Xingyou and Hao Ziqiu, who both advanced as the top two from Group A. In the semifinals, they defeated Cheng Muyi and Lv Haoxuan, who emerged from Group B. In the decisive rematch, Lv Xingyou’s excellent serving put Hao Ziqiu on the back foot again, leading to a 6-1 victory. Cheng Muyi secured third place.


After the finals, Lv Xingyou reflected on his performance, saying that compared to winning the first tournament in Ganzhou, he remained calmer and more composed when facing tough situations this time. His parents also highlighted how much he has grown with the YONEX Elite Cup over the year: “Winning the championship is a great encouragement for him. Previously, he used to get nervous before matches and upset during play, but this time he was more mature.”


At the same time, they praised the event services and support provided by the YONEX Elite Cup: “The YONEX Elite Cup has both regional and final stages, and the organizers do an excellent job, such as providing water and snacks for the kids to replenish energy; the referees are also very dedicated and professional.”


U10 Boys' Singles Champion: Li Shuhang


U10 Girls' Singles Champion: Huo Yitong


In the U10 boys' singles, Li Shuhang, runner-up at the Qionghai leg, advanced to the semifinals as second in Group A. He then made a remarkable comeback by defeating Xu Dehuan, the top of Group B, in the semifinals, and later beat Lv Jiarui, who had previously defeated him in group play, 6-3 in the final to claim the title. Xu Dehuan finished third. In the U10 girls' singles, Huo Yitong, champion of the Harbin leg, performed excellently with four consecutive wins to secure the championship; Wang Yuehan finished second with a 3-1 record; Zuo Jiachen placed third with 2 wins and 2 losses.


U12 Boys' Singles Champion: Wang Enshuo


U12 Girls' Singles Champion: Yang Yuhan


In the U12 boys' singles, Wang Enshuo, champion of the Zhengzhou leg, delivered three consecutive 6-0 wins, dominating 18 games in a row to claim the title; Wu Jiahao finished second with 2 wins and 1 loss; Zhang Hongrui placed third with 1 win and 2 losses. In the U12 girls' singles, Group A leader Yang Yuhan faced Group B leader Qu Ruirui in the final. Yang Yuhan, champion of the Harbin leg, won six straight games to take the championship, while Wang Yaxi earned third place.



In 2025, the YONEX Elite Cup kicked off in Ganzhou and traveled through eight venues including Guangzhou, Chongqing, Xinjiang, Baotou, Qionghai, Harbin, and Zhengzhou. Players showcased excellent skills, resilience, and passion for tennis, emerging from the regional rounds to qualify for the finals held in Fuzhou.


As the culminating event of the year, the finals offered generous rewards: champions in each category lifted trophies, the top three received medals and certificates, and additional YONEX equipment prizes were awarded—champions received YONEX gear worth 7,500 RMB; runners-up got 5,000 RMB worth; third place earned 2,500 RMB worth. Since last year, the YONEX Elite Cup has been officially included in the China Tennis Association’s CTJ junior points system, awarding national ranking points to participants in both regional and final events, effectively boosting their rankings.





From the tournament’s start in April to its successful conclusion in August, the 2025 YONEX Elite Cup prioritized high-quality event services and support. Every detail—from scheduling and venue preparation to player care and parent hospitality—was meticulously managed. The YONEX stringing team provided on-site equipment services; a professional referee crew ensured fair and rigorous officiating; dedicated rest areas for players and parents featured live match broadcasts and ample refreshments; and a wide range of YONEX products was showcased at the venue. This year-round dedication earned widespread recognition from players, parents, and the wider community, becoming the warmest memory as the event closed.






With the successful conclusion of the finals in Fuzhou, the 2025 YONEX Elite Cup Junior Tennis Tournament has come to an end. Although the event has finished, YONEX’s commitment to supporting junior tennis remains steadfast.
