The China Open continues its first round today (September 25, 2025), featuring five matches with national players Wang Yafan, Zhang Zhizhen, and others, broadcast live on CCTV-5.

Six national players will take part in five matches today, with the schedule and order of play as follows.

1. At 11:00 AM today, Wang Xiyu will compete against Guo Hanyu.
2. At 1:00 PM today, Zhu Lin will face Uchijima Momoka.
3. At 3:00 PM today, Zhang Zhizhen will play against Atman.
4. At 7:00 PM tonight, Wang Yafan will go up against Lamens.
5. At 9:00 PM tonight, Yuan Yue will compete against Putintseva.

Event Preview

1. The first match is a national player derby; who will advance to the next round? Personally, I lean towards Wang Xiyu moving forward.
