The Guojiao 1573 National Press Tennis Tournament was held, with KANON GuanQun Tennis designated as the official ball for the event.

The National Press Tennis Tournament is about to celebrate its twentieth edition. On September 24, the organizing committee held a press conference at the All-China Journalists Association, announcing that the "Guojiao 1573" National Press Tennis Tournament will take place from November 26 to 29 in Luzhou, Sichuan this year.

Wan Bo'ao, Executive Director of the Organizing Committee for this edition, reiterated that the successful running of the National Press Tennis Tournament for twenty editions could not have been achieved without the strong backing of the All-China Journalists Association and the Chinese Tennis Association. The tournament has become one of the longest-running sports events hosted by national media. He expressed hope that the event will continue to thrive and improve with each edition.

A domestic official from the All-China Journalists Association pointed out at the press conference that a sports event aimed at the journalism community has been held continuously for twenty editions, generating widespread and positive social impact. This success is thanks to the dedicated efforts of Wan Bo'ao, Jiang Ping, and others who founded the event in 1996, the enthusiastic participation and care from journalists nationwide, and the strong support from the China Sports Association, Chinese Tennis Association, and various sectors of society. The All-China Journalists Association will continue to fully support the high-quality development of this event.

This edition of the tournament is guided by the All-China Journalists Association and the Chinese Tennis Association, co-hosted by the domestic department of the All-China Journalists Association, the Luzhou Municipal Government, and the National Press Tennis Association, organized by the Luzhou Education and Sports Bureau, with the Luzhou Tennis Association as a co-organizer. Luzhou Laojiao Co., Ltd. provides support, while Beijing Zhongwang Tennis Sports Co., Ltd. and Beijing Xinxing Huanya Culture Communication Co., Ltd. are responsible for operations.
