Post-match analysis
The daytime matches had expected outcomes. The Chinese national team’s 6 wins and 3 losses showed a solid performance.
Sun Yingsha’s 3-1 victory over Hirano Miu in the opening match set a positive tone for the entire Chinese team.
Xue Fei’s loss was unfortunate; many had hoped he would win. Instead, he was swept 0-3 by Matsushima Teru, which was tough to watch. Even winning one game would have been acceptable.
