Men's Singles at China Open: Medvedev and Zverev Reach Quarterfinals, Musetti Apologizes After Match

Following backlash from domestic and international fans over alleged "racist remarks" during his previous match against Pericard, Musetti issued a personal apology on social media last night Beijing time, and reiterated his apology to the audience during today's post-match interview, even writing "sorry" on camera.

Tomorrow’s quarterfinals will feature a match between third seed Deminal and seventh seed Menshik on the Diamond Court as the second match. Top seed Sinner will play third on the same court against Hungarian player Marosan. The showdown between Medvedev and Zverev will close the session on Diamond Court. Musetti and Chun Lin’s encounter will be the final match on Lotus Court.
