De Minaur clinched his spot at the Turin year-end Finals after advancing to the quarterfinals of the Paris Masters on Thursday.
Prior to De Minaur's first qualification last year, the previous Australian player to compete in this tournament was Lleyton Hewitt in 2004. De Minaur is now set to make his second appearance at the Turin Finals.

This seventh player to secure qualification for the Turin Finals this year won his third ATP 500 title in Washington, saving three match points in a tough final against Davidovich Fokina.
De Minaur also reached the final in Rotterdam and made it to the semifinals in Monte Carlo, Beijing, and Vienna. In Vienna, he achieved his 300th career tour-level victory.
With his third-round win over Karen Khachanov in Paris, De Minaur leads the ATP Tour hard-court wins leaderboard with 42 victories.

Only one spot remains for the year-end Finals. So far, Alcaraz, Sinner, Zverev, Djokovic, Shelton, and Fritz have qualified. Musetti currently ranks eighth in the ATP Turin Finals live standings, followed closely by Alcaraz, who trails by 290 points and has advanced to the quarterfinals in Paris.
