Early this morning Beijing time, the ATP1000 Paris Masters completed the singles quarterfinals, finalizing the semifinalists. World No. 2 Jannik Sinner continued his impressive streak, beating American second-ranked Shelton 6-3, 6-3 to reach the last four. Now turning to the women’s tour. Last night Beijing time, three WTA250 tournaments concluded their singles quarterfinals, producing all semifinalists. Hong Kong: Former champion and 2nd seed Fernandez defeated 7th seed Romanian Costea 6-4, 6-4 to advance. She will meet Austrian Tagger, who beat German Kolpach 2-0 for a final spot.

Chennai: 7th seed Australian player Burel advanced to the semifinals with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Croatian Vekic. 4th seed and Indonesia’s top player Zeng Limie comfortably beat wildcard Pohankova 6-3, 6-1 to secure a semifinal berth. The other two semifinal spots went to Thailand’s Tararudi and Taiwan’s Joanna Garland. Semifinal matchups: Tararudi vs. Zeng Limie, Burel vs. Garland.
