Jannik Sinner wrapped up two weeks of brilliant tennis by securing the Paris Masters title, following his triumph in Vienna just a week earlier. The Italian player defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 7-6(4) in a high-quality final, earning his second consecutive title without dropping a set.

This win propelled Sinner to the No. 1 position globally, closing the season with pride and relief after a demanding stretch of competition.

Sinner mentioned he had mentally prepared for the possibility of reaching No. 1 since the start of the week but did not overly stress about the outcome. The 24-year-old chose a simple approach, focusing on one day at a time, listening to his body, and maintaining steady mental composure.

He admitted that the Vienna tournament left him physically and emotionally drained but also boosted his confidence to continue performing well in Paris.

“There are days when everything flows smoothly, and days when you have to push through. Winning this title now is truly special,” Sinner revealed.
