On November 2nd local time, the 2025 WTA250 Chennai tournament wrapped up its final matches. The 4th seed Zeng Limei overcame the 7th seed Biller 6-3, 6-3 to win her maiden tour singles title, marking her as the first Indonesian in 23 years to win a WTA singles trophy. In the subsequent doubles final, Zeng teamed up with fellow countrywoman Sugadi to defeat the top seeds Hunter/Niculescu 7-5, 6-4, powerfully securing the doubles crown as well!

Thanks to her outstanding double-title performance at this event, Zeng Limei’s world ranking is set to finish the year inside the top 50, a remarkable rise from her starting position of No. 412 at the beginning of the season. Reflecting on the victory, Zeng said, “She (Biller) has incredible resilience. We could see her toughness from the first round, and she always manages to come back in matches. She is a very experienced player, and competing against someone like her is never easy.”
