On November 2nd local time, the 2025 ATP Paris Masters came to an end. In the men's singles final, Rolex ambassador and second seed Sinner defeated ninth seed Aliassime 6-4, 7-6(4) in 1 hour and 52 minutes, achieving an impressive 26-match winning streak on indoor hard courts and capturing his first Masters title of the year and fifth overall without losing a set. In men's doubles, third seeds Heliövaara and Paatelainen defeated second seeds Cash and Graspur 6-3, 6-4 to win their first Masters doubles title.

Sinner Clinches His First Paris Masters Title
Prior to this match, the two had met four times, each winning twice, making their rivalry evenly matched. However, this year Sinner emerged victorious in their encounters at Cincinnati and the US Open. In this final, Sinner broke serve in the opening game and lost only three points on his serve in the first set to take it 6-4. In the second set, Aliassime saved five break points to push the set to a tiebreak, but Sinner converted his first match point to seal the championship 7-6(4).
After the match, Sinner commented, "It was a very intense final. His serving was excellent, so I had to seize the few chances I got. I’m very pleased with my performance in the tiebreak and my ability to stay consistent throughout."
Sinner’s Path to the Title

Third Round: 7-5, 6-1 vs. Sinnerdolo
Quarterfinals: 6-3, 6-3 vs. Shelton [5]

Sinner
Thanks to the 1,000 ranking points and €946,610 prize money earned from winning the Paris Masters, Sinner surpassed Alcaraz this week to reclaim the world No. 1 spot for the first time since the US Open. The two will compete for the year-end No. 1 ranking at the ATP Finals in Turin.

Aliassime
For Aliassime, although he failed to secure the final spot for the ATP Finals this week, his champion points pushed him past Musetti to rise to No. 8 in the rankings. However, Aliassime has opted out of this week's ATP Metz tournament, stating, "Although it may not be obvious, I do have some physical issues. If I qualify for the Turin Finals, that would be great; if not, congratulations to Lorenzo (Musetti)."

With this, the battle for the last ATP Finals spot has become clearer. If Musetti wins the ATP Athens title, he will qualify for the first time; if not, Aliassime will enter the Finals for the first time in three years. According to the draw, Musetti’s first opponent will be decided between Wawrinka and VandeSchulp, with a potential quarterfinal clash against fifth seed Miller. In the semifinals, Musetti might face third seed Darderi or seventh seed Poplin, and in the final, he could meet Serbian star Djokovic.
