Last year, Leylah Fernandez finished as runner-up at the ATP Next Gen Finals. After a breakthrough season, she reached the final at the China Open, again finishing second. With 250 ranking points and €90,675 prize money earned from this victory, Leylah Fernandez will break into the top 30 of the world rankings for the first time next week, rising to No. 28. In the men’s doubles final, the home team Herbert/Alizé defeated the third seeds Andreozzi/Ginard 7-5/6-3 to claim the title.
