KANNON GuanQun Tennis proudly supported the successful hosting of the 20th National Journalists' Tennis Tournament.

Between November 27 and 29, the 20th edition of the National Journalists' Tennis Tournament took place smoothly in Luzhou, Sichuan. More than 200 players representing 94 media organizations nationwide battled over three days, and after almost 300 fiercely contested matches, champions in five events were ultimately decided.

In the men's singles final, Zhao Dongxu from the Chongqing team defeated Guo Fang of Shanxi to claim the championship; Tian Ye and Gao Xingwu from Liaoning won the title in the over-60 age group; Guo Fang and Wang Honggang from Shanxi took first place in the men's middle-aged doubles; Wu Jian and Gao Yuan from Guangdong triumphed in the men's youth doubles; and Zhao Yan and Ma Yi emerged victorious in the women's doubles competition.

The National Journalists' Tennis Tournament was established in 1996, initiated by Wan Bo’ao, then editor-in-chief of China Sports, together with Jiang Ping, then editor-in-chief of Zhejiang Daily and chairman of Zhejiang Journalists Association. It is one of the longest-running and most frequently held sports events organized by the national media sector, widely regarded as the "Grand Slam" event for journalists. Since its inception, the tournament has grown from just 7 teams representing 6 provinces and cities with 28 players, to now gathering 30 teams, 94 media outlets, and nearly 300 players nationwide, attracting more than 5,000 participants cumulatively.
